Doane Athletics is home to 23 intercollegiate teams as one of eight NAIA schools in Nebraska. We are a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and offer competitive shooting sports, too. Tigers have a long tradition of success in college sports both on and off the field – 'Sko Doane!

Not every student at Doane is an athlete, but every athlete at Doane is a student. Student-athletes are immersed in a diverse environment where they partner with students from different backgrounds, beliefs, majors and more.

Student-athletes develop leadership, critical thinking and communication skills while they compete together and work toward a common goal. teamwork, personal growth and self-awareness that transfer from athletics to other aspects of life.

Participation in college athletics prepares students for post-college careers, long after their athletic career is over. The confidence, teamwork, and personal development they experience in sports can be transferred into real-world situations and jobs.
